Alfonsina y el mar (Ariel Ramirez)

“Alfonsina y el mar (Alfonsina and the Sea)” is part of the cantata “Mujeres Argentinas (Argentine Women)” created by the poet and historian Felix Luna and the composer and pianist Ariel Ramírez. Each of the eight songs in Mujeres Argentinas celebrates both real and symbolic figures of women who have made significant contributions to Argentine. "Alfonsina y el mar” pays homage to the great Argentine poet Alfonsina Storni (1892– 1938). It was written in the rhythm of Zamba and has become an iconic work of Argentine folkloric music.
Alfonsina wrote her last poem that would be premonitory, “Voy a dormir (I am going to sleep)”. Two days later, she would give up her life to the sea.
This last poem inspired Felix Luna to create the lyrics for this Zamba as a tribute to her.
〈アルフォンシーナと海〉は、アルゼンチンの詩人で歴史家 のフェリックス・ルナと作曲家でピアニストのアリエル・ラ ミレスが創作したカンタータ《アルゼンチンの女》の中の 1 曲である。全 8 曲で構成される《アルゼンチンの女》は、作 家や独立運動家アルゼンチ ンの歴史に大きく貢献した実在の女性達、象徴的な役割を果 たした女性達を取り上げている。アルフォンシーナと海〉は、アルゼンチンの偉大な詩人ア ルフォンシーナ・ストルニ(1892-1938)へのオマージュである。 サンバのリズムで書かれたこの曲は、アルゼンチンの民族音 楽を象徴する作品となっている。
1938 年 10 月の火曜日の未明、マル・デル・プラタの街で、 アルフォンシーナは『私は眠りにつく』という予兆を示す最 後の詩を書いた。その 2 日後、彼女は自分の命を海に捧げる ことになる。
この最後の詩に触発されて、フェリックス・ルナは彼女へ 捧げるために、このサンバの歌詞を作った。

The idea of publishing this collection was about to reprint <Cielo abierto>, one of Sinesi`s most famous songs. I knew Quique and his abundant works, and I realized that it was a great opportunity to publish music sheets with works from various periods, as many musicians wanted their music. My mission was to write from recordings and handwritten music and to arrange the original music that was written for 7-string guitar. The contains 8 of his most acclaimed composition. この作品集の出版を思い立ったのは、彼の最も有名な曲の 1 つである〈澄み切った空〉の再版がきっかけでした。キケさん と彼の豊富な作品を知り、また多くの音楽家がその譜面を欲し がっていることに気づいて、様々な時期の作品を入れた楽譜を 出版する絶好のチャンスだと思いました。私の任務は、録音や手書き 譜から採譜し、オリジナルでは7弦ギターのために書かれた楽 譜を普通のギター用に編曲し、運指を付けることでした。
Tangos Mastepieces 17 Tangos arranged for guitar
"Tangos Masterpieces" (from Canaro to Piazzolla" Arranged by Leonardo Bravo and published by the Japanese publisher Gendai Guitar. The book contains 17 pieces from the traditional tangos to the modern compositions. Leonardo arranged the pieces for solo (14) and guitar duo (3) trying to get the real sound of the genre but keeping the technically speaking into de intermediate level. The book is in it`s the second edition.

Serie on 5 pieces of intermediate level called "5 pequeñas piezas" (Los arboles, los hombres y el río) "5 little pieces" (Trees, Men and River) Leonardo wrote those pieces for his students. The piece was chosen and published for being a mandatory piece at the International Guitar Contest of Kyushu, Japan in 2008
ギターを教えるなかで、私は生徒のための小品をいくつか書こうと決めました。毎日の練習の味気なさを解消し、やる気を呼び起こすものを作りたかったのです。コンセプトは、簡単なテーマを素材に、楽器の音響物理特性を生かして、最小限の力と動きで楽想を形にすることでした。そうして生まれた数々の曲の中から、今回、この発想のもとに5曲を組曲としてまとめました。曲自体は描写的なものではありません。タイトルは、作曲の動機となる思いや感覚として生まれたものと、また曲の完成後に付したものがあります。

Argentina`s "Fondo Nacional del las Artes" published the second score book "Guitarra Argentina Vol II" dedicated to argentine music for guitar. The book contains 12 pieces by diferents argentine composer like Julio Azcano, Quique Sinesi, etc. Leonardo participa on it with his composition "Fukuokeña"
